After more than 100 days in the same place, we are on the road again! We have been driving from Bulgaria all the way down the Western coast of Turkey. Even though we have been in Turkey before, we love being back here and we definitely enjoy the warmer temperatures.
Our last weeks in Bulgaria were quite chaotic, so we weren’t in the mood to post a new blog. Wrapping up our Workaway was a big relief: we had had a lot of troubles with our host and although we loved the families and the skiing, we were very tired and we needed some time to rest. Being back in Tiny gave us back our freedom and our stress-free way of living.
In the last few weeks, we visited cute towns, we walked among ancient ruins, we read books and we watched the sun set over the sea. Besides that, we also met up with some families that we met in Bulgaria; somehow we all continued our travels in the same direction! We even went paragliding with one of the families, which was an experience we’ll all never forget.

Sparta’s diary (5)
Oh how I miss Bansko! Here in Turkey it is already way too hot for me, even though it isn’t even summer yet. I also miss all the people and dogs in Bansko, because there was always someone around to play with.
Luckily, there are a lot of friends here too. The street dogs are usually barking at me, but I really don’t mind. Most of the times, they turn out to be really friendly! I especially like it when we are parked in a place where I can run around without my leash. Than, I do my crazy moves. It doesn’t happen often, because my bosses don’t want me to eat trash and to scare off the goats, but I get lucky sometimes.
The thing I loved the most about these last few weeks, was the part when we moved into an apartment near Fethiye. Unfortunately it was only for three nights, but it was so much fun! There were other humans too; we had met them in the snow and they were sooooo nice. The girl played with me and made me feel calm. The woman gave me treats. We also went for a hike with them and I loved chasing the boy on the trails. Of course I was much faster than him, but sometimes I stayed back to check if my bosses were still following us.
The part that I don’t like about this new routine, is the driving in our tiny house. I do like hanging out in the van, but when everything is shaking and making loud noises, I get really scared. Although it used to be worse, it still stresses me out when I am in bed and my bosses bend over me to grab someting. And eating is still difficult too! But luckily my bosses now make it more fun to eat and when I want to stop eating, they don’t mind and take it away.
Actually, I am really happy now. I can be outside all the time and we go on a lot of walks in new places. I really hope to see these nice humans from Bansko again, though!

Leo disputes Sparta’s claim of being faster on the trail. 😊
